Thermo-Mechanical analysis (TMA)

This test method is used to determine the deformation of a specimen as a function of temperature.

The thermo-mechanical analysis (TMA) detects changes in the specimen’s length or thickness. The test is possible within a temperature range from - 150 °C to 600 °C.

  • Tension/strain in films
  • Coefficient of linear expansion
  • Penetration measurements
  • Glass transition temperatures
